Pre-K Registration 2025-2026 Qualifications

Must reside in the Early ISD school district
Must be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2025, and meet at least one of the criteria listed below:

Limited English Proficient – Child is unable to speak and comprehend the English Language
Homeless (As identified by 42 United States Code Section 1143a)
Child of an active-duty member of the armed forces or child of an armed forces member injured, killed, or missing in action while on active duty
Foster Child – Child is or ever has been in Foster Care (Form 2085 required)
Child of an eligible for the Star of Texas Award – a peace officer under Section 3106.002, Government Code, a firefighter under Section 3106.03, Government Code, or an emergency medical first responder under Section 3106.004, Government Code
Educationally Disadvantaged – which means eligible to participate in the national free-reduced price lunch program. (Proof of income is required – prior month’s pay stub and Income tax return, TANF or SNAP eligibility letter). Refer to the updated chart provided each year, effective July 1.

If you think your child may qualify as educationally disadvantaged or homeless, please fill out the appropriate forms below and return them to the Early Primary office. If you have any questions, please call 325.643.9622. Parents must have a valid email account to register their student.
