The dreams just continue to become reality.  Our list of Seniors and their choice of after high school grows daily.  We have posted pictures of all seniors who have announced to us their choice.  We are very proud of their accomplishments and look forward to tracking their success with life after high school.

Basketball is going strong.  Girls won the Zephyr tournament last Saturday.  Boys are looking better every game and I look forward to district starting soon.  We do have some games over the holidays.  Check the sports web page and see the complete schedules.

Christmas holiday break is upon us.  Students are ready.  Two weeks without their smiling faces can get boring and I always look forward to our restart.  The holiday break is welcomed every year, but I always look forward to returning.  How can you not look forward to our kids.  They are great.

FFA has gotten their fruit in and should be delivering soon.  FFA also held their annual stock show last week and it was a huge success.  To see the kids show and succeed just proves we have the best.  They work hard raising their animals and pour themselves into the shows.  And when they win, they have conquered another of life’s challenges.

The spring sports and shows start soon.  January brings the start of baseball, softball, track, powerlifting, UIL and stock show season.  Band and Choir also have competitions.  The point of all this is—the kids will be very busy.  They are every year.   So regular attendance is necessary to prevent grades from dropping.

I am proud to be at the high school.  We have the best staff and kids throughout this district and my time at the high school proves this.  Having been involved on two campuses, They are all great.

I am Proud to be LONGHORN!!
