EHS Robotics Ready to Harvest Awards
Early high school robotics teams competed in the 11th Annual Robotics Invitational contest in San Angelo on Monday, Nov 10th. Four teams competed in the Arena challenge 'Food Frenzy' and one team competed in the Inventions category. 'Food Frenzy' challenges teams to construct and program a Lego robot to manipulate a set course. The course includes growing, irrigating, and harvesting 'food' in the course. The Inventions category challenges teams to brainstorm and design a unique invention that could be used to solve a real-life problem. The Inventions team earned 2nd place in the competition.
