Need to Print? Here's how to add a network printer (so you can get exercise walking to the next building to get your papers).

From your desktop click on Start, Settings, and Printers:

Double click Add Printer:

Click next in the Welcome to the Add Print Wizard:

Be sure that it is checked on network printer and click next:

Locate Your Printer. It will default to “Find a printer in the Directory” so just click next.

In the Find Printers window click find now:

Your selections are hidden so you want to maximize that screen.

This is a list of all network printers for the district. Make sure you know what network printer you want installed. They are listed by campus/type/physical location.
Let’s say you want to add the color printer in the B15 lab. Find it in the list and double click on it. (The Model column tells you it is color!)

If you get this message and the printer you want to install is the printer that you will use most, click yes. If it is not, (for example the HP4550N B15 color printer is never a default printer), then click no and click next. You are almost finished.

Now you have the printer you want. Click finish. You are done.

You should see your newly added printer in the Printers window. (The little black circle with the white check on the printer icon denotes the default printer.)
