 Macromedia Dreamweaver

The toughest part of creating a photo gallery in Dreamweaver is getting the photos edited and saved to a folder. Dreamweaver will actually create the gallery for you! Ain't technology grand?

First, be sure that your optimized pics are saved in a special folder just for them.
In Dreamweaver, go to Commands (up on the tip-top toolbar), Create Web Photo Album...
You'll get a window like this:

Add your photo album title (this is what will be at the top of each of the gallery pages).
Thumbnails are the itty-bitty little pics that appear on the index of the gallery. The defaults are usually fine, but you can play around with them if you want. {I don't suggest that you show filenames on the index -- add your own captions later.}
Be sure that you Create Navigation Page for Each Photo! This is very time-consuming work that Dreamweaver does for you.
The Source Images Folder should point to where you have the pics saved.
The Destination Folder should point to where you want the photo gallery to be saved.
The Crucial Bit: be sure that the destination folder is inside your web folder (it's not a bad idea to point back to the source folder).

Now click OK and watch Dreamweaver go! Here is an example of a photo gallery.
{This example shows Dreamweaver's default settings for a photo album including the "show filenames".}

Now you have a web photo gallery to share with the world!
