Welcome to my website. It is a pleasure to have your son/daughter in my class this year as I begin my 28th year in education. I look forward to a new and exciting year. Currently my teaching assignment involves IPC (Integrated Physics and Chemistry--(9th & 10th grade), Environmental Systems--(11th grade) and Dual-Credit Anatomy & Physiology--(11th & 12th grade). Listed below is a small summary of our course content. If you have any questions feel free to contact me anytime.
IPC - (1st semester)-- basic physics concepts of forces, energy, motion, electricity,sound & waves
(2nd semester)-- basic chemistry concepts of atoms & elements, matter, chemical & physical
changes/properties, chemical bonding and reactions, acids/bases, and solubilty
Env. Sys - environmental issues,concepts and disciplines and the factors that affect our
environment, as well as a review of IPC and TAKS objectives involving chemistry, physics, &
biology
Dual-Credit Anatomy & Physiology--college prep course through Ranger College involving the study of
the human body and the function of its systems
